Keenan’s Double

Rob Keenan has made an impressive start to the 2014/15 season by picking up an early season double and in doing so, claiming the first 550m and 800m sash’s of his career.

Off the back of his 2nd placing in the VRTA 550m a week earlier, Keenan tasted success over 550m at Warrnambool on Saturday before again saluting the judge in the 800m at Terang on Sunday. Keenan was one of three athletes to share the $500 bonus on offer for winning a race at both meetings.

Keenan is proving his versatility, now having won over 300m, 400m, 550m and 800m.
